Religion Benchmark Projects! Woo hoo!

Unit Essential Questions:

- What is religion?

- Has religion helped humans more than it has hurt or hurt more than it has helped?

- How has religion influenced interactions between people?

Over the next week you will be researching for and creating a document that will inform the public about a specific issue relating to religion. You will need to choose a specific focus that allows you to focus on multiple religions and investigate both primary and secondary sources. Your project must include sacred texts and multiple interpretations of these sources. You may use sources that we have studied together in class but must also locate sources of your own. You cannot include your own religion in this project but must instead investigate other religions.
